About Us

What We Do:

Deep End Ministries is a teaching and discipleship non-profit created for the purposes of taking Christ-followers deeper into God's Word than they have gone before.

By considering the full context of Scripture (history, culture, literary style, language), Deep End studies plunge well below the surface understanding of the text, offering thinking Christians the opportunity to move beyond the basics of the faith into a never-ending odyssey of God's Character and Truth.

In addition to providing study materials in the Deep End, we also provide training and equipping resources to help raise up confident, compitent and theologically sound teachers within the local church.

Why We Do It:

Too many believers today are satisfied to remain in the shallow end of Christianity where eternal life is secure but earthly faith life is stagnant. A rich and invigorating life with Christ awaits all believers in the theological deep end. But for a variety of reasons including discomfort, fear, and disinterest, Christ-followers aren't willing to take the plunge.

Deep End Ministries is responding to the life-transforming challenge posed by the writer of the Letter to the Hebrews - to retain the elementary teachings of the faith, but press on to Christian maturity.

"For everyone who lives on milk is inexperienced in the message of righteousness, because he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, whose perceptions are trained by practice to discern both good and evil. Therefore we must progress beyond the elementary instructions about Christ and move on to maturity..."

(Heb 5:13-6:1, NET)
